WHAT IS PTO?

Welcome! The Parent – Teacher Organization is a volunteer group comprised of parents, family members, teachers and school staff. We sponsor events, and raise funds for the school with the goal of enhancing the academic experiences of our children. The PTO also participates in various community events.

HOW DOES THE PHMS PTO RAISE MONEY?
Spirit Night Restaurant Fundraisers: Texas Roadhouse, Panera Bread, Jimmies Scoops, and Rita's Water Ice

  • Participation in Community Events: Pine Hill Community Cleanups, Pine Hill Borough Christmas Parade
  • Spirit Wear, Gym Bag and Locker Organizer Sales
  • Joe Corbis & Popcornopolis Fundraisers
  • Flower & Candy Bouquet Sales at Graduation
  • Donations from Local Businesses 

WITH THE FUNDS RAISED, LAST SCHOOL YEAR WE WERE ABLE TO FUND THE FOLLOWING:

  • Renaissance Trip and 6th Grade Class
  • Student Planners for every PHMS student  
  • Teacher Appreciation Events
  • New Picnic Tables for the Greenhouse
  • 8th grade awards
  • Sponsorship of Local Families for the Holidays
  • Easter Basket Donation for Pine Hill Easter Egg Hunt
  • Backpack Raffle at New Student Orientation

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

 We are always looking for volunteers! New faces and ideas are always welcome. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Library at PHMS at 6:30pm.  However, you do not need to attend meetings to volunteer at our events.
