Welcome Pine Hill Middle School Parents and Guardians,

It is my pleasure to welcome all of you to our inspiring community for this school year. I am excited to serve as principal of this wonderful school. Our goal is to create meaningful relationships and share learning opportunities with our students. The teachers, administrative staff, and myself are working very hard to ensure that your children are prepared academically, socially and emotionally as lifelong learners and productive members of society. 

We offer a range of rigorous academic courses, a top notch school band, and creative visual and related arts programs. These learning opportunities are designed to build 21st century skills to prepare students for their secondary school journey and beyond. In addition to our high level of instruction, this year we are pushing a writing initiative. This will be implemented throughout all content areas by creating interdisciplinary programs and projects that enhance our students’ critical and creative thinking skills. In order to speak to the whole child, we provide sports programs and many extracurricular clubs to engage and foster our students' individual growth.

I believe that parents are partners in their childrens’ education. I am here to support you and your children’s needs for them to be successful in middle school, ready academically and socially for high school and to be able to accomplish their short and long term goals. My philosophy includes open communication and a safe space where all students feel welcome and ready to learn. I would love to see parents solidifying partnerships by becoming members of our PTO, helping to plan PBIS celebrations and working to build a strong community within our school environment. I am committed to create positive change which will impact how our students learn, grow and develop as adolescents within this 21st century landscape.
